This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data from our platform.


1. Account Deletion Request

You can request deletion of your account in the following ways:

Option 1: Through App / Website

  • Go to Account Settings
  • Select “Delete Account” (if available)
  • Submit your request

Option 2: Via Email

  • Email us at: support@spicesdolly.in
  • Include your registered phone number or email
  • Mention “Account Deletion Request” in subject

2. What Happens After Request

Once your request is received:

  • Your account will be verified
  • Access to your account will be disabled
  • Your personal data will be scheduled for deletion

Deletion is usually completed within 7–15 working days.


3. Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon successful deletion:

  • Your profile information
  • Login credentials
  • Addresses and personal details
  • Order history (anonymized or removed where possible)

4. Data That May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:

  • Transaction records (for accounting/legal compliance)
  • Dispute-related data
  • Fraud prevention and security logs

This data will not be used for marketing or profiling.


5. Impact of Account Deletion

After deletion:

  • You will not be able to log in
  • All saved data will be lost
  • Any active orders may be canceled
  • Wallet balance (if any) may be forfeited unless processed before deletion

6. Vendor & Delivery Partner Accounts

If you are a vendor or delivery partner:

  • Ensure all pending orders are completed
  • Clear any dues or obligations
  • Settlement must be completed before account deletion

We may delay deletion until obligations are resolved.


7. Re-Registration

You may create a new account in the future using the same or different details, subject to platform policies.


8. Security & Verification

We may request identity verification before processing deletion requests to prevent unauthorized actions.


9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.
Changes will be reflected with an updated date.
